The Central University Administration is divided into the Chancellor's Office and the Executive Division.
Goethe University has four statutory bodies (§92 HHG) and several committees and forums. The statutory bodies are legally established, while the university defines its committees and forums within the framework of its self-government.
The university has several appointees, trusted representatives, and ombudspersons who provide support across various areas.
In addition to the Staff Council, three more groups represent specific employee interests: the Office for Staff with Disabilities, the Youth and Trainee Representation, and the Student Assistants Council.
