The two fellowship programmes organised by the Strategic Alliance of Rhine-Main Universities - consisting of Goethe University Frankfurt, the Technical University of Darmstadt and Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz - the Mercator Science-Policy Fellowship-Programme and the ENGAGEgreen Transnational Policy Fellowship, foster the dialogue between scientists and representatives from politics, the public sector, media and civil society.
The fellowship programmes offer the opportunity to access scientific knowledge on the policy issues, they are dearling with in their work context. Participation in the fellowship programmes requires a total of five days of presence at the Rhine-Main universities.
During the academic year 2025/2026, the fellows will spend five days (more if desired) in the Rhine-Main region with two visits - in autumn 2025 on dates of their own choosing and for a joint visit from 27-29 January 2026. Visits on an individual basis outside the dates mentioned or virtual discussions are also possible.
