Course Progression

The master’s program in Religion - Media - Interculturality spans four semesters (120 ECTS). It is structured into three phases and eight modules.

Foundational Phase | 1st-2nd semester (40 CP)

  • Principles of religion(s), media, and interculturality
  • Contexts of theology
  • Practical Internship

Advanced Phase | 2nd-3rd semester (45 CP)

  • Religions and media practices
  • Theology and film
  • Cross-cultural theology
  • Interreligious relations
  • Personal focus areas
     

Final Phase | 3rd-4th semester (35 CP)

  • Personal focus areas
  • Master Colloquium  
  • Writing the Master’s Thesis

This degree program can be started in either the summer or winter semester.

 

Application deadlines:

  • May 1 – August 31 for the winter semester
  • December 1 – February 28 for the summer semester
