About the Method Lab EDS

The Method Lab for Educational Digital Studies (Method Lab EDS) is a Goethe Competence Center within Go4Tec at Goethe University Frankfurt. It provides research infrastructure, digital methods, and methodological expertise to support innovative research in the educational sciences.

The Method Lab supports researchers in the application and development of digital research methods throughout different stages of the research process. It provides access to specialized infrastructure and methodological expertise and facilitates the development and implementation of new approaches to collecting, processing, analyzing, and interpreting research data.

As an interdisciplinary research environment, the Method Lab brings together educational research, methodological development, and digital technologies. It promotes collaboration across disciplines, supports research projects and the development of new methodological approaches, and contributes to knowledge transfer and technology-related training.

By combining infrastructure with methodological expertise, the Method Lab EDS strengthens digital and data-driven research in the educational sciences and contributes to the continuous development of research methods and infrastructure at Goethe University.
