Since 2011, the Deutschlandstipendium has been supporting committed students from all disciplines whose career paths indicate outstanding achievements in their studies and professions. In addition to excellent academic performance, social and community engagement is also evaluated when selecting scholarship recipients. Other selection criteria include a willingness to take on responsibility and the successful overcoming of obstacles in one's own life and educational path. Scholarship recipients receive financial support of €300 per month—half from the federal government and half from private donors. This alliance of civic engagement and government support is what makes the Deutschlandstipendium so special.

Basic funding for foreign nationals covers bachelor's, master's, and diploma programs, as well as programs leading to a state examination. To apply, applicants must have initial graded transcripts and very good German language skills.

The Graduation Scholarship is intended for international students in all fields of study who have demonstrated academic achievement, are currently enrolled at Goethe University, and are in the final phase of their studies (Bachelor’s degree, state examination, consecutive Master’s degree). The scholarship is designed to support students who are in financial need while working on their thesis or preparing for exams.

The Hanns Seidel Foundation supports talented and committed students and young professionals who are committed to a democratic, solidarity-based, and sustainable society. In line with the values of the social market economy and Christian responsibility, the foundation supports young talents who stand out for their academic achievements and social commitment. The aim is to promote individuals who are committed to preserving democracy, freedom, and social equality in a changing world. In addition, the foundation attaches great importance to international exchange and the promotion of tolerance in order to strengthen international understanding and cooperation.

The Dr. Arthur Pfungst Foundation supports talented and financially eligible students during their studies at German universities with scholarships. The foundation grants suitable applicants financial support according to their needs. The scholarship is initially awarded for one year, but can be extended until the end of the student's studies.

The Evangelical Study Center Villigst assumes Christian global responsibility in the area of promoting gifted students. In doing so, the Evangelical Study Center assumes that giftedness with special intellectual and creative abilities obliges one to use these abilities in a socially responsible, future-oriented manner and in open community relationships.

The unique feature of the TANDEM scholarship program for first-generation students is that it provides scholarship recipients with one-on-one mentoring from a university lecturer who is familiar with their subject and place of study. This enables regular exchanges throughout their studies. In addition, the German University Foundation offers scholarship recipients two to three workshops on key skills per year, personal one-on-one coaching with professional coaches during their studies, networking events, specialist events, a study-related budget, and a digital package.

The Heinrich Böll Foundation supports students and doctoral candidates who are committed to democracy, human rights, and environmental sustainability. As a political foundation of the Green Party, it supports young people who are committed to a just and environmentally sustainable society. In addition to financial support, the foundation offers a comprehensive program of non-material support that includes political education and international networking. The aim is to promote a new generation of leaders who actively contribute to shaping a sustainable future.

The scholarship programs offered by the Dr. Friedrich Jungheinrich Foundation are characterized by financial support and extensive non-material support. The maximum funding period is 36 months and is linked to the course of study. All scholarship recipients are assigned a mentor and given access to the foundation's network of excellence. Regular scholarship holder meetings, exchange formats with exclusive guest speakers, and factory tours are just as much a part of the scholarship as the preparation of quarterly reports. Our work focuses on promoting the fields of electrical engineering, logistics, mechanical engineering, and the so-called STEM subjects.

The Ernst Ludwig Ehrlich Scholarship Foundation awards scholarships to particularly gifted and committed Jewish students and doctoral candidates, as well as to doctoral candidates whose field of study is related to Judaism. In addition to financial support, the foundation also places great emphasis on providing moral support. The program of events offers scholarship recipients the opportunity to reflect on their Jewish identity and take on responsibility for society.
