Overview of Support Options
The National Research Funding team supports researchers at Goethe University in applying for funding at the national level. They provide information, guidance, and services on funding opportunities, assist with collaborative projects from the initial idea to the final review, and offer administrative support for both individual and collaborative research proposals.
Here’s how they can help:
- Orientation, information, and guidance on national funding opportunities (events, funding newsletters, and one-on-one consultations).
- Assistance with the application process for collaborative projects – from the initial idea, draft proposal, and main application to the on-site review
- Guidance and administrative support during the application phase (including questions about participation rules, cost calculation, and electronic proposal submission)
- Support for research contracts in Faculties 01–15 (internal)
- Advice on application procedures for DFG-funded major instrumentation for research under Article 91b of the Basic Law (internal)
