Through the course of studying German teacher training for special education, students are prepared to academically examine complex questions in the fields of linguistics, literature studies—including children’s and young adult literature studies—and the didactics of the German language and literature. They acquire subject-specific and didactic qualifications for teaching the subject in middle and secondary schools.
