Geography is a field of science that focuses on the Earth's surface, exploring its physical characteristics, spatial differences, and its role as a space for human life and activity. In schools, the subject is referred to as "Geography," and it is also the name of the field of study in degree programs L2, L3, and L5. Geography examines both natural and societal structures and processes that shape the physical environment and the spatial dynamics of human communities. Within the discipline, Physical Geography and Human Geography have developed into relatively independent branches, each with its own questions and methods. These branches often collaborate closely to address various issues, such as geoecology, energy systems, or sustainable regional development.
