Research and Transfer

Through research and transfer, Goethe University actively contributes to the socio-ecological transformation of society.

Teaching and Studying

Goethe University provides its students with education for sustainable development (BNE) and is thereby training the sustainability multipliers of tomorrow.

Campus

Goethe University designs its campuses to be socially, ecologically, climate- and equity-oriented – aiming for net climate neutrality by 2038.

Culture and Structure

Goethe University embraces a “culture of sustainability” and has embedded sustainability in both its structure and strategy. Read more about the projects here soon.

Goethe University's Sustainability Office

The Sustainability Office is the central contact point and networking hub for all members of Goethe University who are interested in sustainability or want to contribute to it. It regularly organizes events and provides information on current sustainability topics. You can find more information here.
