Sustainability on Campus

Goethe University designs its campuses to be socially, ecologically, climate- and equity-oriented – aiming for net climate neutrality by 2038.

Universities actively contribute to sustainability by integrating sustainable practices into their campuses and activities, thereby serving as role models for society. As a place of work and study and as a habitat, Goethe University has the potential to play a leading role in  protecting the climate and the environment and promoting social justice, particularly through its focus on fields like energy, mobility and construction.
