Mentoring plays a crucial role in the development of young talent! That's why we founded GROW@Goethe, the interdisciplinary mentoring program for students at Goethe University starting in their third semester.
GROW@Goethe helps students at Goethe University with their career orientation and connects them with experienced mentors from various professional fields, including many alumni of Goethe University.
The mentors accompany their mentees for eight months, sharing their practical experience and opening doors in companies. Mentoring is complemented by lectures, workshops and networking events.
Become part of GROW@Goethe and seize the opportunity to achieve your professional goals - because mentoring works! Be inspired by the testimonials of previous participants.
GROW for Internationals: GROW@Goethe offers international mentees special support to ease their entry into the mentoring program and the German job market.

"GROW@Goethe is a wonderful program that brings people together. I have gotten to know students from a wide range of disciplines and look forward to every meeting with my mentor. I've already been able to get a glimpse of their daily work and be inspired by the way they work. As a first-generation college student, I find the mentoring program very enriching."

"I wish I had a program like this when I was younger because practice and theory are very different. I want show young students new avenues that they may not have thought of. It is also important to me that people who are not familiar with the German language can find a connection to everyday working life."

"In these times of skills shortages, graduates of all degree courses are very well placed to find jobs quickly. For some graduates, however, the question arises as to which professional sector or company they should start their career in.
As a mentor, I'm here to share my own professional journey and connect with mentees to help guide them. It's a win-win for me too, as I learn about the latest developments in different subjects and the goals students have today."
