The course on the didactics of German language and literature for elementary schools is designed to empower students to academically explore questions related to German instruction in primary grades as well as grades 5 and 6, using exemplary cases. It aims to help students develop scholarly expertise for teaching the subject across grades 1 through 6. The focus areas of the course include German language and literature within the context of teaching and learning processes.  

This program also equips students to make informed decisions about selecting learning materials for language and literature education in grades 1 through 6. It involves engaging with the subject matter, understanding learners, and examining the processes of acquisition and instruction, as well as their interconnections.

Application Process and Admissions

This degree program has restricted admission (NC) within the university. Seats are allocated through this process, with 20% based on waiting time and 80% based on the average grade of your higher education entrance qualification. Waiting time refers to the period between completing your high school diploma and applying for the program (excluding any time spent studying).
