In the field of computer science education, students are equipped with the theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and teaching methods needed for successful instruction in computer science at both secondary school levels. This includes:

• Building a strong foundation in the core principles of computer science to be taught in schools 
• Learning about teaching strategies and classroom techniques from a subject-specific perspective  
• Developing an accurate and critically informed understanding of computer science as a part of our cultural heritage  
• Exploring the history and current trends in school-level computer science and its connections to other subjects  
• Gaining insights into the research methods used in computer science  
• Understanding the role of computer science in schools, its contribution to general education, and its significance in the modern world  
• Familiarizing with concepts in media education  
• Learning how to thoughtfully use information and communication technologies, textbooks, and other media in teaching and learning processes  

This degree program has restricted admission (NC) within the university. Admission is determined through a process where 20% of the spots are allocated based on waiting time and 80% based on the average grade of your higher education entrance qualification. Waiting time refers to the period between completing your high school diploma and applying for the program (excluding any time spent studying).
