Semesterstart und Studienbeginn
Die studentische Erstsemerster-Einführung (EEV) für den Bachelor Meteorologie findet am 06. Oktober auf dem Campus Riedberg statt. Alle Details dazu findet Ihr hier in der → Einladung zum Semesterstart.
Am 13.10.2025 beginnt das Semester formell mit der offiziellen Orientierungsveranstaltung und dem Semester Kick-Off von 9:00 bis 12:00 in Raum 3.101 im Geozentrum auf dem Campus Riedberg.
Bitte beachtet auch die → Vor- und Brückenkurse - der Vorkurs Mathematik beginnt bereits am 22.09. (und wird von uns empfohlen!)
Wir freuen uns auf neue Gesichter und wüschen allen einen guten Start ins Studium!

The new → module handbook for the Atmospheric and Climate Sciences degree programme has been published. There is currently only a German version available.

Update: Admission to Winter Semester 2025/2026
Currently we are updating our application and admission process. In addition to that, several procedures and informations will also be updated.
Admission will be available via → UniAssist from April 1st. Application via UniAssist is free for this programme.
An early round of admissions will be conducted for all applications submitted before May 31st 2025 and applicants will be informed at the beginning of July*.
Please bear in mind that visa applications in various countries can be extremely long! Make sure to check with your if an enrolment is realistic, e.g. here: → study-in-germany.de. Deferrals to the next semester are not possible and a new application will be necessary (students once admitted will likely be admitted in the next year).
*Final admission depends on the evaluation by UniAssist which may eventually be delayed
