Childhood, Youth, and Family Studies

The Department of Social Pedagogy and Family Studies at the Faculty of Educational Sciences is part of the Institute for Social Pedagogy and Adult Education. 

We pursue a broad field of topics - empirical and international comparative research on childhood, youth, and families; children's rights; the theory and history of childhood; poverty and social inequality; well-being; violence; vulnerability.

Our working group conducts critical analyses of the social position of children, young people, and families, and translates research findings into policy, public debate, and professional practice.

As a GREP Fellow, you will have the opportunity to contribute to ongoing projects within the working group or propose your own project according to your interests.

GREP Fellows may propose their own research project within the departments's thematic focus or collaborate on an ongoing project.
