MA American Studies
The focus of the MA American Studies is on developing students into independent researchers in two of three areas of specializations offered by American Studies in Frankfurt: literary studies, cultural studies, and history. The MA program provides ample opportunity for independent work. It offers an individual schedule of specialization and a thorough grounding in American Studies' disciplinary history, methods, and theories. It also emphasizes the practical work of junior researchers through attention to their participation in workshops and conferences and the promotion of specialized working and advanced writing skills.
This degree course is open to all students with a Bachelor's degree in American Studies or related subject (e.g. English, Cultural Studies, History).
