RESEARCH

Project related research

In my work for the project I am focusing on the case of disaster victims in China. In this research, I am taking into account aspects of vulnerability and the societal negotiation of risk, social justice and political legitimacy, as it is articulated around various types of disasters.

Other research interests

In general, I am interested in concepts of social justice and risk and how they are articulated across social movements and in public policy.  My current research interests also lie in the areas of EU-Asia international relations, and in particular EU-China relations.
