Overview

Course content and focus areas

The Master's programme Art-Media-Cultural Education trains and qualifies students for scientific, artistic and cultural-educational professions.

The programme understands artistic education as the basis for character formation and emphasizes a communication rooted in aesthetic and social competence. At the same time, well-founded technical and didactic academic training, as well as the university's diverse range of studies, allow students to adapt skills that facilitate occupations in the arts or eclectic cross-cultural areas. Art pedagogy and a scientific research focus, exchange programs and cooperations, as well as research projects foster an interdisciplinary and international approach.
