GRADE
The Goethe Research Academy for Early Career Researchers GRADE is open to all PhD students and postdocs at the Goethe-University and offers a range of services, including professional and transferable skills. All FIRST PhD students should participate in a workshop on Scientific Writing and Scientific Presentation during their PhD.
GRADE membership is mandatory for participation in any of the training programme and other services. Applications forms can be found here.
Good Scientific Practice
Guidelines and the e-Learning Tool on Good Scientific Practice
Good Scientific Practice is absolutely crucial - when planning and doing experiments, when analysing them, and also when writing the manuscripts and the dissertation!
The Goethe-University guidelines on Good Scientific Practice are available for download here in English or in German.
GRADE developed an e-Learning Tool for Good Scientific Practice. It will take approximately one hour to complete. You can interrupt the programme at any time and continue later. After each module, there is a short quizz. On successful completion you can print out your certificate. Please remember that you will need your GRADE membership ID to start.
